With Black Friday behind us and Christmas around the corner – not to mention tax time in Hong Kong – it can be all too easy to let debts and bills pile up.

I recently spoke to RTHK and discussed this conflict; from planning for big outgoings like tax time and Christmas festivities, to squirrelling away small amounts of money regularly (perhaps better advice for Christmas 2024!).

We dived into the pressures people face this time of year, the surprising facts behind some of Black Friday's misleading tactics, and how you can prioritise where your money needs to go.
